This course covers the key business and technology elements of electronic commerce.
It introduces students to both the theory and practice of conducting business over the Internet and World Wide Web.
Topics include technology and infrastructure, sales and marketing, payment systems, shopping carts, search engine optimization, server technology and e-commerce security.
Students will have a hands-on project setting up an e-commerce site.
