Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) is a super-set term that does not replace subsets. The challenge is to communicate about ICT workforce in plain language. This presentation looks at the ICT industry pie, the statewide (California) organizations in ICT education, the use of MediaWiki and MS Word for change control and documentation of the California K-12 ICT Pathway Standards, the development of standards for ICT, creation of a sequence of courses, the pathways identified, the high school sequence of courses, development specializations, and next steps in this project.
